Our freeze dried products come sealed with an oxygen absorber (OA) inside the package. If left sealed, storage in a cool, dry location is recommended.

Once opened, the product is exposed to oxygen and moisture which can slowly begin to reconstitute the product. As such, we recommend not removing the OA and closing the package with the existing zip-lock feature on our package for later use. This does not re-seal the package so it cannot guarantee the shelf-stability of freeze dried goods in seal packaging.

It is recommended to periodically condition your cutting board using a food-grade mineral oil, cutting board condition, or similar product to prevent the wood from drying out and potentially warping, twisting, or cupping.

It is recommended to hand wash your cutting board only and recondition it as needed.
